Upcoming Recycling Day

Often times, when I do a housecall, I find that people and business are keeping that old Windows 95 computer in a corner, collecting dust and rust.  They want to get rid of it, but just don’t want to leave it out in the trash.

To help out, Pattavina Networks is hosting a Computer Recycling Event on July 9.  We will take your old computer, game machine, VCR, or other electronic items and send them off to the recycler for free!  There is a $10 charge for CRT monitors and TVs are not accepted at this time.  If you are concerned about data still on the computer, DeLowery’s Recycling offers a Certificate of Destruction for $10 (they will shred it into tiny pieces).

Players and KO from the Brockton Rox will be on hand to sign autographs and talk baseball.  Lenovo will be on hand to show their latest technology, plus have some cool giveaways.  For those who recycle, we’ll treat you to a ticket to that night’s Rox game against Tim Raines’ Newark Bears.

You can also enter a drawing for a Bill Buckner autographed baseball.

I am grateful for the enthusiastic support of Steve Kelley of Stoughton Center Business Park and from the instructors of Lincoln Technical Institute.  Without their help, this event couldn’t happen.

Recycling drop off and festivities will be at Pattavina Networks, Trackside Plaza, 2 Canton St., Stoughton, Saturday, July 9 from 11 to 1.
